I am picking up some Sylvania real HID's Tuesday and installing them in my car's 97 factory headlights {I swaped with 97 headlights on my 95}.The Sylvania HID's are the same as in the Lincoln Mark IIIV.I believe they retail for over a $1000 dollars,I am getting them brand new from a guy I know who lives right down the street from me in Rhode Island for $525 with no damn tax or anytyhing. They come with a one year limeted warranty against defects.I will tell everyone how they look and maybe try to put up a pick either tuesday or wednesday. The cool thing is if they work nicely in my Max and if any of you guys want to buy them I can arrange this for the same price{I am not going to make any money out of this} ,Tell me if your interested in ordoring and I will post his email address on Tuesday for anyone interesred in this great deal. Before anyone starts *****ing and mouning that they won't work on the Max and you won't have high beams wait until I install them first and I will tell you if they work good or not. Also if you do decide to buy them and later decide you want to sell your car you can take them out easally and re-install them in your next car.

Is the guy an authorized dealer? If so, then the warranty is in effect. If not, then there's no warranty.

He tolled me there was a waranty, but if something brakes I'm sure he would take care of it for me anyways since he lives near me.Do you think $525's a good price for sylvania HID's?

I'm not familiar with the Sylvania HID kit (actually, I didn't know they made one). But, $525 is a great price for a real HID system (I sell mine for $600 shipped).

I was thinking of buying one ballast and one bulb for the 9004 and use it as a sample kit, but I guess you can be our Maxima.Org test monkey I'm interested in your results...
