Oh great just my luck!!!

Just got my car finished and haeding in indianapolis for lowrider car show and pshhh car, has air suspension leak. Then i started to smell something burning---look in the back and smoke is rolling out of the trunk, opening into the car...quickley opened the trunk, d/c the battery, to find out a wire had touched my other air comppressor behind the stereo...caused all my wires for air suspension, stereo and everything to melt. to sum it up, had to have it towed back to my house, unable to raise it up, thus tow truck having to destroy my back bumper. Total damage would consist of , replacing back bumper, replacing all wire for air susp/stereo etc...a 50 tow bill, 25 loss for car show entry to lowrider...a lot of work ahead of me to fix it. and being very pissed off. i'll post damage pics sometime next week. just venting.

Sorry to hear about that Brandon, hope you get it back up real quick. It's just a fluke accident though. Look at putting a fuse at that connection if need be, good thing it didn't catch on fire.

damn that sad. the other day my MAF sensor plug went loose and mine wouldnt start. i was sitting in the gas station for 30 minutes figuring out whats wrong with it and why it died on me out of no where. sad part was that i had no choice. it wasnt like i could get it up on a tow truck. finally i saw the MAF sensor plug loose, plugged in back in and it started right up. i know one day if she brakes down, ill be in deeppppp ****. knock on wood that will never happen.

damn, Good thing indeed it didnt burst into a fire, it could have been much worse.

Atleast the damage is somewhat minimal. Make sure to secure all wires so this doesnt happen again.

Good luck.

i got insurance form a local place called Rudd insurance its going to take me a few weeks to get the wires replaced and airline redone, im also waiting on my check form the insurance company. after that i will order everthing and get it done and put the bumper on and take it to the body shop for paint. Only thing I got new was a CF trunk and diamond clear corners, drilled rotors and redo a little work on my air suspension, oiled the cylinders ect. I should be good to go in a month or 2.
