Wow...talk about moving up...

remember the 'discussions' between him and Jose and the rest of the .org. Some forgettable moments to say the least.
In retrospect, this is not a surprise, he always seemed very motivated.

Woodear is an OG and a debater! Somebody tell him to come back and visit. Is he still out in Flushing? Nice upgrade from the BMW.

I would like to point something out--on the Ferrari dealer's website, they've misspelled Stradale under Chris T's name. How the heck would a) an authorized dealership have a typo like that AND b) the owner of the car not check his page on the website for accuracy? Anyone check NSOL to see that the page isn't spoofed?

I bet (rather I hope) it's less than what this partner's windshield for his CL600 cost to replace. Too bad he doesn't AMG it, then it'd cost about 10 g's shy of woodear's car! hehe

I don't dislike people with money, but somehow I doubt I'd ever spend the way they do. Why I just went to the grocery store and stocked up on 79 cent seedless grapes on sale! Better stock up before they go to 1.99/lb!!

Always good to see fellow maxima owners moving up to bigger and better things.

For those who are curious on how I came across the website, was looking for a F1 Ferrari/Bridgestone jacket which I had seen before and Ferrari of LI is close to me, went to their website, clicked on a few links and saw Woodear's car.

Anyone remember Woodear's friend, Testuo (sp?) Didn't he have an NSX when they first came out? Pair of successful former Maxima owners!!

Now, to play devil's advocate! Do we all take our hats off to GW Bush? Not really, he came from money. Do we take our hats off to Bill Clinton? Yes, because he came from poverty.

Who knows, woodear went from a Maxima to a GS400 in a matter of no time, with a 540i at the very same time. Does a person who earned his money the old fashioned way generally have two 50k+ cars simultaneously, when they're in their 20's? Not really, they want their money to work for them. Maybe having a 190k car is a success story, maybe it's just mommy and daddy's money. Whatever the case, when the party's over, we all make our own beds and sleep in them. Then again, with leasing, we can sleep in more than one bed at the same time.

yo wats going down ppl??

dan caught me on AIM and told me the OG's on the org still got the love for me, i followed the link to check this piece out.

damn it feels like going back in time, i recognize many of the handles, david-TsingTsao, barry, randall, jeff, Sprint, kevin Chin, Synki ....... can't believe it!! it has been a good 6-7 yrs??? time goes by way way too fast.

anyway, its good to catch up with u OG's back on the org. maybe one day we can get a OG meet going, wasn't dan planing one awhile back?

p.s.
to Frank Fontaine, i remember ur handle but i don't know u. i don't care to know u either, but just want to say that you are what they call a "textbook hater".
i know plenty of ppl who are barely 30 yrs old, driving ferrari's and pimping black amex, all making their own money. remember. its a big world, lots of oppotunities, u just need to find that one niche, thats all.

What's up? I do remember you, but I don't care to bring up what you were saying about stocks, BMW's, etc. I don't hate you, again, I don't know you! Don't be so sensitive.

It's cool to have money, we all want it. I'm satisfied with what I have at 31, want more of course, but not as much as what you already have. I rode in a partner on the west coast's Gemballa biturbo this weekend in Santa Monica--ridiculous. I liked it, but don't aspire to owning one. But again, I don't hate his accomplishment either. Actually, I rather think LA and its lifestyle is pretty cool. Nothing like cruising the Sunset Strip the way we did Sat. night, it was a blast. My little car is nothing out there! But I still like it. Ni hao.

let me get this straight.

--- dave made a post about seeing my car on FoLI website.
--- you came out of nowhere, trying to say the website is not legit. then you started talking about money, how u would not spend the way others do even if u had money.
--- NO ONE replied to your post.
--- you came out again, and made a 2nd post, about how you only respect ppl who made their own money, and how my car might just be daddy mommy's car.

you gonna honestly tell me that you aint hating??
give me break.

you made 2 posts full of negative attitude towards me, that has nothing to do with the original post by threat starter, while not being provoked by anything. dats text book hating by definition.

i am not gonna wasting time with you. anyone with a brain can judge for themselves if you were being a hater or not by your 2 posts.

Here I am...no, I'm not angry. I think Chris' car is awesome. And he's a successful, young man. There's nothing wrong with that. He's got a vehicle that most likely nobody on this forum will ever have. I rode in a supercar last weekend (the Gemballa bit) and it really was something special, only in Cali. I guess nobody takes as much notice as in the east. I can't believe that guy as confident as he is gets all twisted when I said the model wasn't spelled correctly on the webpage--wouldn't you then go and correct it? You got to be able to jibber jabber in the real world and keep things real! It's not a Nelly song where I'm asking for tickets to his next show...

Dan was going to get a meet going for the OGs but someone leaked and screwed it up! PM Dan, we should get some OGs together. Since you know.. us East Coasters are the coolest.
