weird sound from front drivers side wheel

I just noticed that the front drivers side wheel is making a kind of creaking noise when rolling but only seems to be doing it when I am not giving the car gas. It makes a sound that kind of sounds like maybe a warped rotor rubbing up against something while the wheel is turning and gets faster as the car speed increases. However if I am on the gas it does not make the sound. Also when applying the brakes the sound does not change so I don't think it is the rotor. Steering and ride are the same as always and nothing feels "loose".

I am suspecting a wheel bearing (I have replaced both back ones in the last year) but would like to know if anyone has any other ideas.

This is a 2000 SE with 19" rims.

Thanks in advance!!

I have this sound.. sort of a rubbing squeal. Low pitched at 2 mph. Very high pitched at about 35MPH, then dissapears after that, lost in the road noise.
Dunno wtf it is.. Done it since it was new. Dealer never fixes it.

I'm having the same problem as of recent.
I wonder if it's inpart due to my relatively new pads/rotors or recently installed Progress/Tokico.
Isn't the wheel bearing more of a low-pitched "wah, wah" sound? This is more a metallic squeal.

If its not rpm dependant than its probably your bearings. They either need to be packed if they are dry or replaced if they are bad. Most of the time they are bad.

Yup, that was the problem with mine.
