Nismo wheels

I asked in the wheels forum, but need answer asap as I need to purchase them on 5/31 in the am. The rims are 18x8.5 with 45 offset and only weigh 17.6 lbs each. I will be mounting 235-40-18 tires on them. The set will go on a 97 with an eibach drop (1.5). Do you forsee any rubbing issues? Looking at my 16 inch oem set, it looks like I am ok. Please let me know asap.

no rubbing gurantee.. especially with a 235-40-18, you could run 245-40-18 if you wanted to.

My wheels are 16*8.5 +35 with 245/45 rubber and I rubbed the splash guard so bad it almost cracked in two.

I have 18x8.5" rims with a 45 offset (no lip) wrapped with 235/40/18 and the only rubbing I get is when I cut the wheel all the way and hold it while turning. I'm dropped with Progress springs (F 1.75)(R 1.5). I think rim design may play a factor but I think you should be all set.
