PILOT HID Conversion Kit A Good Buy or Not?

Has anyone installed the Pilot HID Kit thats selling on eBay and on their website, www.pilothid.com ?

Are they reputable? Do they have good or similar light output to other brands like McCulloch & Helio and are they long lasting? or should i just spend an extra $100 and get the McCulloch HID Kit?

HID kits are *essentially* the samething nowadays, but warranty periods differ. I personally love my Helios kit, which is equivalent to a Prolumen kit and comes with a lifetime warranty

He also posted himself that the two kits are mad ein the same factory. The two kits also share the exact retail packaging, minus branding, and looks exactly the same. If Prolumen is magically better, then so be it, I am happy with Helios.

They ARE magically better. In fact, it's not even magic.

By Prolumen's own admission, Helios uses Gen 4 - aka M4 ballasts - not M5 ballasts - which are better.

So, unless Helios has decided to step up to the plate and make them that way, then there is a difference.

Now, that being said, you should contact "HABBIE" on bimmerforums, he's got a kit that is exceptional for only $200 shipped.
