Using My Car For Advertisement????

HI I Just Bought the new issue of rides the other day and came about the picture of my car... WTF this company is using my car for their advetisment... wat can i do?

oh yea and insurance said they would cover it but... no shop want to do the job, insurance dont want to pay dealership labor cost... =/

Sell it, buy a new maxima and dont ruin it like this one....

haha, I also saw this car on ebay for a bodykit. I just assumed you ok'd the company to use the pic. There is something you can do because I remember a thread like this a while back. Oh yeah, I would try and screw the company over everway possible. That sh*t is not right.

I had a similar deal with Hemmings using an unauthorized picture of my car.

They admitted they were wrong, but I wasn't an azz about it because I thought it was kind of cool to have my car in a magazine.

They were nice about it and after a bit of discussion with the editor, they gave me some free issues that had the pic, plus a new one and agreed to give me a photo credit any time they use the picture in the future. He offered to put in a clarification/apology, but I told him he didn't have to.

I would tell them to stop using a pic of your car and to give you some kind of compensation for using an unauthorized picture. If they are jerks, threaten them with legal action.

I would either try to get some kind of $$$ from them for using your car without permission. If they say no then I would get a lawyer involved. If it was the other way around you know they would be at your door step with a lawyer ready to bring you to court.

lol i saw your car all over the place... it snot the first time i see it. I have seen it on ebay, and other stores etc....
