Went to Seattle International Raceway to run my car for the second time tonight. I only got three runs in, but they were all 14.8 @ 94 mph, compared with my last run of 15.4 I think that's pretty good for an auto with a 50 shot. I ran with a full interior, I just took out the spare and my toolbox. Overall it was a good night, I'm going back on Saturday with the NWNISMO Crew. Who say's auto Max'es are slow.

I drove about 45 minutes to get to the track, and then I pretty much went straight in and started running. I don't know how much NOS I have, or the pressure, I don't have a pressure gauge yet or a bottle heater, so I'm sure the pressure sucked. I was just hitting it at about 34-3600 and then I left it on, since I'm an auto and all. This was only my second time at the track, so I'm still working a lot on my setup for just running period, tire pressure and all. I'm going to try again this Saturday, I want to at least get a 14.6, but with the 50 shot I don't think it's going to happen with my tires. Just remember I am running an auto, I just leave it in 'D' with the OD off. If I had a 5 speed I can just imagine what I'd be running. I need a new fuel pump!

Cool man! That's a good run.

Do you plan on increasing your NOS?

14.2? How did he do that with just bolt ons? Is there any auto guys that can hit 14s with just bolt ons other than Don? Lowest I heard is around 15.2

I have an automatic also

I just keep it in drive, and my car wieghs 3310 with me in it. so it is not too light. I run what is sopposed to be a 40"shot" at around 1000psi. My best run is 14.0@98

I have a lot of work to do to my car still. I didn't get a good setup at all. I let a little air out my tires, but I didn't have a pressure gauge. This morning I checked it, left tire was at 18psi, right one was at 25. Probably didn't help any. I also had a ton of crap in my car still too, and I didn't let it cool down at all, all things that would probably help out a lot. I think a 14.5 is realistic for my current mods, so that's what I'm shooting for. The track was also hella hot, so hopefully the cool morning air on Saturday morning will help out, and I have a few other tricks up my sleeve.
