Weird problem...need professional help...

Hey guys, so I am having a weird issue with my car and am not sure where to start. I know I will get flamed for this, but when I bought my car I had some fun with it and was able to hit a max speed of 137 or so pretty easily. The other day I was on a straight suburban highway and attempted to do the same thing however this time when I got up to 110 my RPM's dropped to about 4000 and my car slowly inched up to 115 as if it had no more juice left in it. I am not sure why, any help is appreciated. I know I should not be speeding like this but I do it once in a blue moon and only on straight, long empty stretches of tx highway...

Merlot?

So what is a "Merlot" ???? OK so that's a color, I think the time you got to 150+ the computer forgot to limit you to the rating on the factory tires, Probably 113 MPH.
The second time it's limiting you to a "safe" speed. Look at the specs for your model and see if it isn't limited???? Earl

It shifted into 4th or the OD gear, read the stickies. Next time take OD off until it redlines and then turn it on.
