BTW, Ryan, how does the auto drive? My brother is mainly focused on the 6 spds because he's concerned he'd lose too much performance w/ the auto. but Atlanta traffic does suck, I'm stuck in it for over an hour each way. I'm dreaming of a Buckhead condo right now.

Actually, we did try, but the Z dash doesn't take well to flat dash kits, it looked like a$$. Even the flat stick on CF kits look tacky. The only kit I've seen look good on the car are the real molded CF kits, at least they look integrated.

And I'm no longer in the business, I sold it to a big company in Oklahoma. Incidentally, they're trying to see if they can make some molded aluminum kits since their primary business is metal stamping and forming. I'm a stockbroker now, it's what I've always wanted to do, so I thought I'd give that career a shot.

And shadow, would you ever consider making a dash kit for the Z. It's just sooooo boring.

To switch to that career, did it require you to go back to school again? If so, for how long?

And its good to see a lot of the Maxima guys move up into much better cars...I was supposed to do the same in another year, but now this recent writeoff has set me back somewhat.

Not really, it depends on which company you want to work for. I already had my MBA in marketing which helped a lot, but they're more looking for previous sales experience or entrepreneurial experience. Typically for the larger firms - Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, UBS (where I work) they prefer an MBA, but it's not required. At some of the smaller firms I interviewed with, they weren't really even that concerned with education requirements, more with sales experience, some didn't even require college degrees. I would say that sales experience is far more important than schooling. Most of the guys I work with have degrees in finance, economics, business, but we have some with degrees in philosophy or even music.
