The ones for the oil drain plug? I could use a bunch too, if they're free.

They cost less than 75 cents each, is it worth it to ask someone to get them for you for free?

imho the ring should only be replaced with the drain plug. I tried to get the old one off and it was difficult--it was crushed and micro flat, couldn't remove it from the old plug. DOH--guess that's why it's called a crush ring. I believe the purpose of the ring is to prevent the plug from leaking, such as a gasket. Also, it allows for the torque applied at the plug to be of less consequence. Without the ring, over-torquing would be a common problem I believe. But it doesn't wear out and it wont fall off when you do an oil change.

Don't understand why anyone would want 10, or 12. I have an extra--send me a self-addressed stamped envelope and you can have it for free. Or I can FedEX it for $15 overnight.....
