Saturday the Tribune released a great story on world oil and where it comes from. For the first time ever a reporter was able to physically trace gas from the pump to it's origins around the globe.

yeah, the world oil situation isn't a pretty one. Some countries get wickedly brutalized so that first-world nations can prosper.. Shell actually funds militias to force villages to move if they're over where the company wants to build a site.. it's disgusting - corporate armies killing people with no rights..

ultimately though, this is why we should all be interested in world politics.. whenever wars start, we pay for it at the pumps
