Idea for rear window sticker

Thought of this today. Looking for input, and if the idea is well liked, permission to do it. The basic idea is a vinyl sticker on the rear window, in the center, of the nissan emblem. Instead of "Nissan" however it would have "www.maxima.org" or some variation there of. Then down underneath in the center in itallic my (your) forum name or something.

Just a random though i had.

I already have it! It is a banner across my rear window that reads www.maxima.org.

I did it small enough to be tasteful and large enough to be read a couple of car lenghts back!

I did this for 2 reasons.
1. to help Identify other org members!
2. help spread the word

You should put a banner on the back that looks like this:

YOU JUST GOT

FTW...

I would post a pic, but I am 3000 miles from home. When I get home, I'll pull the lady out of the garage and get a snapshot of her back window!

first off i dont know why i even have PS, im really really bad with it. Obviously this would all be white with a clear backdrop as most window vinyls are. This is the basic idea of the layout i have in my head.

The thought is to advertise the org, and your membername. Theres a ton of max's i see everyday and i always wonder if they are on here or not.

I like the name idea.. even if you see a maxima.org sticker, you're not always sure who's car it is, unless you've memorised everyone' setup

do you have a company or organization in mind that could create this? If so i'd be willing to shell out a few bucks for one

Shoot me some measurements you had in mind. My original idea was fairly large but a smaller one would most likely be better. I have a friend at the local body shop who does custom vinyls, and i would have him do one for me. If it is then something that you guys all like and he was willing to do a bunch of them i would put you guys in direct contact with him.

I would say no bigger then the actual Nissan Emblem itself (5thgen grille and trunk badge) I think that would look decent. Anything much bigger would look like some straight up rice.

going a bit bigger may make it easier to read though, and give more room for usernames

Good point, but then you just make the font for the username bigger and might want to consider taking off the WWW part, I know I would want mine to just say Maxima.org, and up above it you could put the words "Callsign" or "Handle" Seeing how some peoples names on here are a little off-the-wall

What does sprint have to do with it? U can make them and do whatever you want, yes you can request that he let you do a group deal or w/e, but even if he doesn't go ahead and make'em and sell'em. It's not his nissan symbol. Are you gonna ask Nissan for an okay?

Anyway, props on the idea, very very good idea.

I understand what your saying steve, and respect it. And out of respect I would run it by Sprint but you really don't need his "permission" to do it. If anyone then I think you would need the owner of the name 'Maxima.org' I don't think that is sprint. Eitherway, keep us posted.

If this is going anywhere, a sticky would be great to buy some stickers to promote the site. I think the edge of the icberg of the maxima community is aware of this website. Would be cool to promote this and get more people in our passion.

Uh, yeah... for quite some time now.

Scuba, here you go,....
version 1 (I think looks better)

versions 2

I think it would make a nice decal, it would probably look a bit better in the silver/gray color to resemble the badge more.
Whatver you decide on, You should run them by Sprint

It's not an emblem it's a sticker for the back window.

Great look... It would be nice to have options on how we would like to represent the org.

I know that...

I'm referring to putting anything back on my car with a Burger...

The sticker does look good so to each his own...
