Would you consider hollowing out the cat? That is what im gunna do rather then purchase or ahve a test pipe made. Just an idea.

I dont realy want to hollow the cat cause that will cause "iritable exhaust syndrom" or something. It wont realy be a smooth exit, the exhaust gasses will be getting trapped in the cat instead of leaving the exhaust. I dont know man, I just want the testpipe, and I will put me stock exhaust catback back on caust I about deaf from my stillen. Andybody want to buy it?

 

back a while ago, this was talked about in the 4th gens (serach for racing straight pipe). there is this guy who will make it for $34.00 shipped, roughly around there. i e-mailed him myself and that was the price he told me, and you can pat by CC too if you want it quicker... i would also suggest saving the cat you have too. when emissions test come around, be ready to put the rt cat back on just in case...

 

DAMN.. if i didnt sell mine, i woulda traded you it and made MORE MONEY!!!

ahhaha But seriously.. just pay for one if you want one that bad, and save the RT cat for a bad day.. (smog check?)

I have my stock cat. I will hang on to that. Has anybody had a dyno with this settup?
