Lookin to add an exhaust but dont want the loudness that comes with it. I like the stealth that my max provides and dont want to give it up. Which is better performance wise and which will give me the "stealth" i'm lookin for??

C'mon fellas help a fellow owner out!!

thanx

Performance...

If you're looking for Stealth and Performance, buy a Y-pipe instead. It'll give you way more power gain, and the noise increase will be a lot smaller than anything from the catalytic converter and back. Costs are similiar.

Rough Guestimates:

B-pipe/Muffler or Catback: 3-6hp
Y-pipe: 10-18hp

I'm assuming that's correct b-pipe wise. That, and the cat is the only stock pieces of my exhaust left, but from what I'm told, neither upgrade does more than 2-4hp (unless you're upgrading the cat to a straight pipe).

If you don't want loud, don't go Stillen (personal experience) ..

Catback (b-pipe + muffler) is better than a muffler... but do a y-pipe first!
