How much should I be paying for lowering?
Im about to put in H&Rs and KYBs but I dont have the tools nor the time to attempt to lower my car myself so I was going to see how much local speed shops were charging in the DC/Metro area.
How much should I be paying?
One place quoted me $420 for the install and an extra $75 for alignment. They could've misunderstood the fact that I already have the parts and I just needed an install but Im not certain....420 just seems a bit pricey.

as a matter of fact, i just installed mine buy myself, took me exactly 3 hours. in thr houston area, 2 shops offer $100, 3 shops offered $140-180, while the rest were outrageously high. i would say keep looking will you find one that does it for at least under $200..

I live in South Florida, and when I was getting mine done (about 5 months ago) the average rate was from $150-$225. Your price seems extremely high, and it would probably be cheaper to either rent/borrow/buy the equiptment and doit your self than pay that much. Shop around, you'll absolutely get a better price. Cheers.
Maybe Less..
3 sockets 4 if you get camber bolts
1 socket wrench
things you pay for but you get your money back:
Spring Compressors
Torque Wrench
Autozone, Pepboys, Advance Auto parts.. most of these stores will rent Spring Compressor and Torque wrench to you
You wouldn't imagine how easy it is to do suspension..
