Very nice! What are your plans for it?

Ive saving up and trying to convince my mom to allow me to buy a Datsun Z and put in a chevy small block or something w/ boost.

I would have to side with your mom on that one. Wait until you're out of school and doing good on your own before something like that.

if it's really his dream, i don't think he'll mind waiting a few years for it to happen. besides what i said was the he should wait until school is done and then worry about spending money on a car.

having starting promblems on a 97 max, pulled motor and installed then it started having crank starting issues while cranking some times right up then others slow.

3k isnt bad at all for a running car, allot of people around here will just give u the car to get it out of their yard or garage... of course they may not be in the best cond....

Well, guys, i've got a 1983 280zx turbo 2+2 new t tops, fully loaded, talking computer, (rare car hard to find) interior is in rough shape but exterior is in very good shape very little rust nothing major, and yea it runs make me and offer!, im in lake forest california, 949 939 7121, ill be posting a thread in the right forum, i just thought that this was a great place to start
And lex, congrats, this cars are really fun to drive around, the only readon im getting rid of it, its becuase i've got two more cars allready and the max and the 98 240sx. and i really dont have a place to put her. so she deserves a good home. and she deserves to be around.

there isnt anything major that needs to be done besides the fact if i ever want it to look 'really nice' which I don't, I would need to take it down to the metal, remove bondo and paint everything lol. I'm just going to sand it down a ton then get a cheap paintjob as its a project car, never meant to be a show car

My friend is now starting to get heated up on his 240Z project. He's been collecting replacement interior parts, some rare, for the last year and a half. Now the L24 motor's out, and the bay is getting prepped for...




...an RB26DETT. Can't wait.
