I went to the track for the first time last night. I was kinda nervous and did not know what to expect.

I ran 11 times and got a best of 15.06/91.66 and second best was a 15.07/91.32. My lowest 60' was a 2.23. I think 8 of the 11 runs had 2.2# 60's. I ran on a 1/4 tank of gas, with no spare, jack etc, and my HEAVY,HEAVY 18 in rims. Tire pressure was front/30-back/40. I was consistently running 15.1 and 15.2 the whole night.

I found out that my best times were coming when i left it in third gear. I always had wheel spin, sometimes more, sometimes less. I really need to work on my reaction times. My fastest r/t was .881.

The humidity was around 70%, and it was 87 degrees outside. Basically i was sweating my a$$ off. Don't know what the baro. pressure was.

Overall I had a good time and next time i will put my stock rims back on and hope to see a 14.8 or so.

Excellent job. Where do you guys find these tracks where you can launch so hard? Pulling 8 2.2 60's out of 11 runs is amazing.

They were having competitions in between our runs. They would do quick 8 domestics and quick 8 for motorcycles. I dont know if that would help any but I seemed to be hooking up pretty well.

Sounds like they were probably applying some VHT traction compound. Regardless, good job. You're destined for some 14s in slightly cooler weather.
