Air Fuel Controller Options

Hey guys i was ondering what my options are as far as AFC's go, i was considering getting a used apexi safc from a friend, but i just got a new laptop and i was ondering what my options are as far as something that i could hook up to my new toy , i dont have any big plans for my car in the future like turbo or supercharging (yet ), but i would like to be able to tune my a/f ratio and possibly something i could use on a future project car.

I have the safc II, gained 10 hp and 15tq from it.

Very satisfied, spent about 175 on the afc and 150 on tunning.

Dnt bother will a stand alone system like a laptop hookup unless your making a race car. Waste of money in my opinion.

AFC is not an air fuel controller, it's an air fuel convertor. that and and learn as much as possible, we cannot make your decision for you.

IMO, VAFC - II is best way to go.

First off, you need to find out and see how much you need to tune. I.e get an accurate a/f plot.

If you want to be able to mess with the a/f get a piggy back like safc/vafc and a wideband wich will tell you the a/f and then you can tune with the piggyback. They compliment each other nicely but like mentioned above look around and learn as much as you can before messing with your a/f
