Whose Maxima is This?

So I'm taking an online driver's ed class to keep a speeding ticket off my record, and I find this pic..

I'm assuming they don't have permission to use that image.

I think the more important aspect of this thread is the fact that you are allowed to take a drivers ed class ONLINE

I find this highly sucky since I have to give up 2 hours of paid work time on the 17th, and sit in a room for 4 hours for my drivers ed/ticket....

Did you break the law in order to get that ticket?
enough said.

Oh dear god, the ticket wars begin again...

Yeah, I broke the lawz and got the ticket; they were even nice and let me take traffic school without having to go to court first (like 2.5 hours away.)

I just think it sucks that they don’t offer an online version of drivers ed like other areas, it's more effective than sleeping through a seminar IMO.

So please calm down and understand that not everyone* is a douch3 bag

yup, that was his car before it got jacked while he was sitting at a red light. bastards.

I think it was totalled so he just got a G35c and moved on, though...

I don't see what that has to do with driving education, though.

i think he got the G, and shortly there after totalled it while being DWI, and had passengers in it, and could be doing time at the present.

It was saying something along the lines of checking to make sure your lights work properly. Kinda funny because after the LED mod, those lights technically aren't DOT/SAE legal anymore.

If I remember correctly, he was waiting at a red light late at night and people just walked up to his car with a gun and took the whole car. When they found it a few hours later, it had been totally stripped of all electronics and the wheels.

They weren't nice about how they took everything out either. I saved the pics on my computer because it was so sad. PM me if you want to see them, I don't know if he'd want them openly posted again, seeing as he took them down himself.

He was at applebees with friends drinking one night and left. While on the parkway he lost control smacked a tree and killed the two people he was with.

I believe he is doing time now for the vehicle manslaughter charges.

that is correct one of them was his girlfriend, the other his best friend. he got the g after his car was stolen and stripped, he was at a hotel and saw them breaking in his car from his hotel window. when he got downstairs they pointed a gun at him and left, so the story was. i believe he is now serving time.

Why do you say its not DOT/SAE legal? Do you have access to the DOT/SAE requirements/guidelines? I have been researching for a while and the guidelines are not that strict. All in amounts to is the visibility of teh park/brake lights ata certain distances. From looking at the plethora of OEM designs over the past few years and from my limited research into DOT standards, some of these LED mods might be more sensible than some OEM designs.

I'm not saying that they wouldn't meet SAE/DOT regulation requirements, but to be legal I would assume the specific design would have to be reviewed and approved before being certified as legal. It doesn't really matter though seeing as most people would never really notice the lights were modded.

Negative.

He was staying at a hotel somewhere in NY and decided to check on his car after a racket. He saw 3 guys in the process of jacking his car.

And for the DUI story, his best friend and girlfriend were killed.

It's a big deal because of the points on your license. Every time you get a moving violation, they add points and if your insurance company sees them, they can raise your rates. Do they not have that in Quebec?
