Don't give away X-mas gifts

Real quick tip. Last Xmas a fellow Maxima owner lost over $400 dollars worth of Xmas gifts that were stolen from his car. The thief either was a Max owner or knew about them because he broke the driverside door glass popped the trunk and made off with the gifts. If you use your car for Xmas shopping disable your pop lock in your trunk, its a minor inconvenience that could save you headaches later on.

Just make sure your key works to open the trunk before you flip the switch.

well its not like that button is somewhere hard to find. Yea its not in the ideal place next to the gas release but in the same area. If the button was in the console then yea. Probaly saw him load up his car and then watched him walk into another store or home and SMASH.

breaking a window and stealing stuff from the trunk can be anyone. I'm sure 10 year olds that hang out with the older kids can be doing them.

uhm yea... if they want something theyll get it. thats a pretty low standard steal. when i had my altima, in bronx they took a screwdriver and smashed thru the keyhole. opened the door, ripped out my horn, and took everything including my hu and sub amp etc along with my bookbags and piles of cds. lol (i laugh bc all those 60-70 cds were all burned. only cds that were bought were korean.. lol. they must have been like wtf is this ****)

Thanks for the heads up! Smash and grab is very popular during the holiday season. Most thieves would try the driver side for trunk release lever. Always try to hide everything in the trunk all the time but especially during holiday seasons.

Happened to my cousin but they followed him from store to store, and when they came back from eating somewhere, his stuff was gone. Funny thing is that they left his sub and amp intact.
