any emergency services personnel step in please
hey, quick question to anyone who is an EMT/firefighter/etc
I'm lookin for a good use for all my Xmas money, and I decided I'll get blue lights for my car (I'm a volly firefighter).
Does anyone recommend any certain brand/model? I'm looking for something with some good warning power, especially at night (that's when I respond from home).
I was thinking at buying 2 Dual Talons from Whelen, but that's 500 dollars, a little bit too much.
Thanks in advance

I put whitestrobes in my high beam sections of my e36's. and 2 in the back up light section of my car. also put 2 blue strobes in the top corners the interior windshield, and rear windshield facing outwards. Make sure you keep your permit from your town hall. i have an internship with the police in CT, other wards you can get in trouble for having the blue/red lights in windshields. As for brands I just went to the local autozone and got 8 strobes, a strobe controller, i think i spent 100$ish, and I installed it all on my own in maybe 2 hours with all wires hidden and tucked controller.

I've tried various setups over the last 20 years and the best seems to be a code 3 with the mirrors on the back on a home made mount on the dash. I've had light bars on top, strobes inside, blah blah blah. Mine is red since I'm in Ohio but the combination of a flashing red/white at eye level really gets the attention of people in front of me. And, it's probably the cheapest.
