I was wondering if anyone has experimented with aftermarket cams for their 4th gen maximas? I know that JWT is coming out with cams (hopefully by the end of this year?)

I am seriously considering port polishing my intake manifold, exhaust manifold and throttle body as per I30krab's recommendation. perhaps would wait for the JWT's cams. also going to custom mandrel bend a b-pipe with flowmaster resonator since courtesy is backordered in their b-pipe.

does anyone have the Bullfrog cams in their cars?

Where would you go to get forged pistons for a VQ30?

 

am trying to mod my car similarly to i30krab...cept for the supercharger...perhaps some day?

trying to do N/A upgrades then supercharged it..

was inspired by my friend's 95M3 with full downpipe exhaust, ported head and valves, and other mods he would not really reveal blow the doors off my other friend's S4 (chipped and full custom downpipe exhaust).

so my friend with the M3 is asking me to follow in his footsteps and do N/A upgrades then go race the forced induction car crew (S4, chipped A4...etc)

Installing four cams would be quite a pita. I'd love to see the results on an independant dyno.

you can get forged pistons from Arias or JE. I think JE actually has some in stock thatll fit the Max. Im having Arias make 9:1 forged pistons for me. Turbo cams are being custom made and got my metal head gasket and Stainsteel valves too......will be done soon, cant wait!!
