Was on AutoTrader.com

Came across this beautiful 1998 Maxima 5sp with 127k and a few mods going for $7495. What do you think?

Such a shame that what once was a nice car is now trashed by worthless mods. Book on a 98 SE 5 speed is between 4 - 6 grand if it's in excellent condition, which that is clearly not.

Mods don't increase resale value, in most cases they lower it.
Nobody wants a crazy modded 4 door family sedan.

No joke. Even if the body work was your style, the assembly is so shoddy. Looks like those lights and panels are going to pop off any moment now. Makes you wonder how long anything else is going to hold up.

It's got nice gauges

Still, that won't save you from having to have to wear a bag on your head whenever you drive it.

I think you all have said it better than I could with this disgrace.

As others have said buy one with less miles for cheaper and do the mods you want to and not all those RICEY mods.

Seats are amazing!!! ive been wanting seats with better bolsters that wont look like sh*t in a maxima, and those are it!

at least he didnt lie to himself and try to advertise it as a skyline

EDIT: found the seats after googling nismo racing seats. they look like its about 300 for the pair and sliders. i dont think i could feel comfertable safety wise in seats that inexpensive. anyone have experience with these?

Don't have any experience with those seats, but these ones are on ebay and they look to be a lot better quality than the other nismo seats they offer. the auction says they will fit any nissan, but are specifically made for a sentra. just thought you might want to check it out.

It looks like they have thoose fake hood pins on the hood. The ones that just stick on. Also he says he needs to sell "ASAP" he is probably sick of being made fun of or beatup.

This true and is why it baffles me(maybe it's a joke?); newbies should be banned for other reasons.

Are you serious?!?! I didn't even know they made such a thing! What would posses someone to think for even a second that fake hood pins would be a good idea?!
