I am not totally sure, but I wanna say it has something to do with the amount of air that is released into the atmosphere.

When I had the blitz on my car and it kept stalling b/c it would relieve too much air, the shop told me that they had screwed it down as far as it could go, so they said the SC creates too much air for that BOV, so I went back to the OEM bosch BOV and no more stalling problem. I also think that the location of the OEM V2 on the 5th gen is also a problem. I think that if I were to move it to another place it may work better like before the Maf sensor. Hope this helps.

the problem with the blitz bov is that the piston gets stuck some times.
just have to pop the piston a few times back n forth. it should be ok..

this is characteristic of the blitz.. nothing toworry about.
but if you want to get rid of it. i'll take it off your hands.
heheh.

I belive basically it controls how much vaccum goes into the BOV. less Vaccum makes it harder to blow off, more vaccuum makes it easier to blow off. Without vaccuum the BOV will almost never blow off. The sound of the BOV can change too when you adjust it. On some turbo cars, an improperly tuned BOV sounds like shooting...psshh ssshhh sshhhh. hope this helps.

I rigged mine up last night. I used the two screws to hold it dowm. I used some plastic washers as spacers around the IAT. I had to grind a bit of plastic off the flat round part on the IAT so the screws would clear, and clip a little bit of plastic from the grey connector so it snap down on top of the screws. But it fits tight. When I do m y install I'll use some gasket paste to make sure it seals up real good.
