I currently own a 95 SE with a 97 bumper and headlights. My question is, if I was to trade in my car for a new car. Would it be wiser to replcae the 97 bumper for a 95 bumper? I am asking this because, I have heard that the inly way to get the most $$ for a trade in is to get the car back to it's OEM condition. This meaning replacing my mods for the OEM parts.

What do you guys think?

thanks,
NeO

I don't think anybody but a nissan dealer will notice the differnce and even then I doubt that they will think to check the bumper.

Find someone who has the same year and color car as you and trade with them and make a profit on it instead of trading the car in that way. Now that is thinking smart

advertise locally

and say custom bumper conversion in teh description, you'll attract people like us who may be interested in that save you the trouble of hassles with a dealer. use the money you get for a new car. forget trading it in you'll have better luck getting more money for it by selling it.
