Wheel Question
I special ordered a single Rota Subzero wheel back in mid October. After I placed the order the business called me and informed me that it would be 60-90 days for the wheel to be sent to me. I told them that would be okay. So I was expecting the wheel to arrive around December/January. Well, when January rolled around I started making frequent phone calls and emails asking what the deal with my wheel was. He kept telling me he would check with Rota and see what the status was. February...still no wheel yet. I asked them for a contact number for who was in charge of my wheel at Rota and they never gave me one. I started to think they were ripping me off so I told them I want it sent here now or I want my money back. As soon as I said that they told me it's ETA would be late Feb. early March. It just got here today. My question is, is it a normal occurance for a special ordered wheel to take damn near six months to get in?? Has anyone else had to deal with this before? I just couldn't believe that it should take that long.

Yeah and that's kind of the toss up here. I realize that it's an internationaly based special order situation so I can kind of understand. But the same time...6 months?? really? I don't know. One thing's for sure they should have put on their website that it would take that long. There was no mention of it whatsoever. I'm not trying to bad mouth them but the company is called Mach 3. I probably wouldn't do business with them again but if it's a common thing for that to take that long then by all means...

Even if it does take 6 months to receive your wheels, the fact that they yanked you around & guaranteed you different dates & then never delivered is BS. I wouldn't ever deal with them again.
