Hi fellas, Within a months time I have seen numerous posts about people of all generations switching back to the stock intake setup adn noticing better lowend performance. Well I decided to go back and I noticed a lot of thing, all of which are GOOD. I noticed that indeed the lowend is a bit stronger(head gets thrown back a bit at take off), and the idle seems to a tad smoother. I also noticed that the A/C no longer boggs the performance as much. I do notice a little top end loss, but nothing really that significant.

Another weird thing that I noticed is that when I had my pop charger and I would lurch(gas it and let go) from a roll the car would drop in rpms and feel as if it was going to stall. Now that I have the stock set up this problem has been totally eliminated.

My ? is that I have had my pop charger for over a year now and I know it gets dirty. Could that be why I noticed such a difference??

Thanks,
Kevin

I went back to stock recently. I don't think that it had anything to do with a dirty filter, I kept mine very clean. I'll go back when I have to, but for right now, I'm content.
