First of all, its the vinyl that tore on the drivers side left bolster... whoops. My charcoal leather is fine but I do have some hard spots.. Needs more conditioner... I went to 4 upholstery shops and one guy wanted to do a weld(his word) which basically is a filler using a plastic mesh but he wanted $125.. He said he could do it then which I'm thinking it would take max 2 hours..Guaranteed for life but way too much money.. Anyway, the other 3 places are asking between $50 to $75 using a higher grade of vinyl (marine grade) than stock. As long as they can match the grain, coloe and threads that should be fine.. Sounds pretty reasonable..I'm getting it done next week. (:
I'll let everyone know how it goes...

Thanks for the info, my seats haven't gone bad in my 96 GLE, but they did in my 95 SE. It's good to know it can be fixed. Post some before and after pics if you can.
