If I'm in the mood songs with a certain tempo will do it. Rock, heavy metal, rowdy country (no puke on your dog stuff), things like that. Good song blaring, windows down, V8 engine rumbling out the dual exhausts...dang now I wanna go driving instead of sitting here at work.

normally it does not make me speed, but when I do want to speed, I do put some crazy nonsense which I would not enjoy. And this is not Maxima related, cause I do not use that kinda music on my Bose. In the city of Brampton you do not want to speed in a Black Maxima.

Music makes me drive slower (usually) because my stereo sounds so good, I want to listen to it for as long as I can.

Music absolutely affects the way you drive.

I listen to all sorts of stuff - but when I put on some metal or hardcore, things get bad really quickly. I even notice that I drive more aggressively, not just faster.

I've heard that radio DJs can actually influence the flow of traffic by playing certain types of songs back to back...

Music doesn't make me speed.

I usually turn off my music if I wanna speed so I can hear the music my engine plays

Yes it does. So far, no song gets me more frenzied than Offspring's BAD HABIT. I have a playlist in my iPod labeled caffeine for speed driving.

Yeah, same with SmokeNismo, when I drive in the mountain pass, stereo off and windows down. But normal city driving, music up and windows up.

I listen to XM 81 - BPM a lot... it's a wonder I have not gotten into trouble yet.
For some reason, the Ralphie Rosario remix of Promiscuous makes me flatten the pedal...
Anything like "Die Motherf&*%er Die" By Dope isn't played in the car.. good song - incites road rage though.

Update:

Well, listening to my senses fail cd last night, on 95 doing about 80, a legend wants to challenge me, he had a ksport sticker and a apexi WS catback(only thing i could "see").. we started at about 85mph, music starts to get me a little over excited. I start to switch lanes around cars SAFELY but quickly. We're at about 115-120mph and i fly up on a car. As i go to the next lane to go around him, i noticed it was a unmarked state trooper. Ironically, just before i saw him my car sputtered(was just about on "E") so i couldn't keep going(run).

I got pulled,
officer"
"do you know why i pulled you over?"
Me
"because my car caugh your attention?!?"
officer
"i was doing 90mph and you came up on me doing about 110mph+"
ME
" can i see the speed gun reading"
officer
"I dont need one"

took my info, went back to the car, came back and said
officer
"Mr. *******, you got REEEAAL lucky toinght. My computer system is acting up and i can't process anything" "You were going to get ALOT of tickets tonight sir"
Me
" may i ask what were the tickets for"
officer
"speeding, wreckless driving, illegal taillights, tint, front windshield, etc"
me
"ok, going to park it for awhile now" he said "you go do that"

after that, the entire way home, my music was wind and exhaust

If I hear "radar love" or "Riders of the storm" at a stop light, forget it. On the highway, "born to be wild" makes me go a little faster that I normally do.

Look up any Initial D music, SEB(Super Eurobeat) and/or Juno Reactor.

trust me, you WILL speed. It's not a question of "if" it's more of a question of how long you can hold back with a track mix from these sources.

Don't buy it? get these;
Juno Reactor - High Energy Protons (Orion Mix)
Juno Reactor - Samurai
Dave Rodgers - Spaceboy
http://youtube.com/watch?v=kACgOWFrb...elated&search=

and if that doesnt get you, add NIN - March of the Pigs and The Perfect Drug.

All cars mystically transform to Corvettes for just a minute when "Born to Be Wild" is on. I think even 70 year old grandmas speed when that comes on.

I listen to hip-hop / rap.

I drive slowly. The more they tailgate, the slower I go.
