Trance makes me speed. Call me weak hearted, but its just so...connecting!
Does music make you speed ? If so what kind of music gets you going ?

Unfortunately, metal makes me more aggressive when I don't keep myself in check. I've noticed if I listen to ATB or something while I'm driving I'm a lot more chilled out.

Eh, I get into music.

I speed anyway, but I go faster when listening to death metal, gets you pumped I guess. Also anyone who likes metal, new Job for a Cowboy CD comes out May 15. You will get a ticket while listening I promise.

The faster I go the more the VQ sings, the more the VQ sings the faster I go. It's a vicious cycle

Music doesn't really make me speed, but sometimes if I'm in the right mood I tend to drive more aggressive.

My first and only time ever getting a ticket (3 years ago, which also explains the music selection), I was listening to Kid Rock "fxck you". I don't let music control me anymore, if anything, I chill out when listening to music now.

Sometimes when I'm listening to music I get fired up and drive a bit faster, but I'm certainly not the douche on the freeway weaving in and out of cars in his chevy cobalt (the absolute definition of "underwhelming") because the latest remix of "ice ice baby" finally became available on his LG chocolate.

Might be the chicken and the egg too. Maybe I just turn on the music when I'm already feeling like I'm fired up/excited.

Hands down it does! Especially techno/club music...I have those songs used in the Redline vids on a cd in my car, and I can tell you when they come on ...well, of course I personally never speed but uh...others I know...they tend to drop the tach.

I challenge anyone who is cruising to crank the volume on this. As long as you don't concentrate on your speed, I'd bet if you looked down at your spedometer when it ends, you'd be going 5-10mph faster than when you started.

yup.. depending on the music and my mood, it will definitely make me drive faster. thus the reason I keep some old skool Clapton blues in the changer for when I'm stuck in traffic and want to start pushing cars out of my way. Just switch over to that disc and I'm in no hurry anymore.

music does influence my driving occasionally. "Eye of the Tiger" will get my rpms going LOL. But seriously any rock/hardcore will cause me to speed. Techno/Trance would make me pull over and....

I think I speed more without music, unless engine music counts. That's the whole point of it for me.

I fly with loud music however the space where the factory bose sub was sucks *** and rattles like a flag in a hurricane, the license plate vibrates so loud, it just buzzes like mad when i crank it, Any suggestions to reduce horrible rear deck rattle and that plastic bezel around the opening when you fold down the seats. And no, dynomat wont work there.

yes Trance/techno here as well, like Eurodance as well. It doesn't really make me speed though.

On topic, trance keeps me relaxed. Drum & Bass, Rock, or hardcore Rap will get me to speed or drive aggressively.

It doesn't "make" me speed. It does give me the desire to exceed the speed limit every now and then.

Nah not really...

But I listen to a lot of RnB so it's mostly mellow I like to chill in my car.

Absolutely in no way does music make me speed... It is my right foot that makes that happen. The last time I checked, the radio was not connected to the gas pedal...

Very very true. Music does influence your driving, much like it does how you're feeling.

'I Got Shot In The Face' (hardcore band) makes me drive SO fast. So good!
www.myspace.com/igotshotintheface listen to 'You Dead'

but, if im crusing downtown with the guys, its gotta be some illmatic beats. slow loud and banging is where its at.

me no,I think if you check the ages of the people responding, the higher speed being affected by music,is more true the younger you are,not so much the music,no offense you younger max fanatics; we'd be nowhere without your passion!
