I guess some Acura dealer in Miami are offering 3.5 liter conversions for their Type-S Tls. Those guys are using the MDX engine parts + some head work etc.. to get an estimated 300hp. I have no idea on how they are handling the ecu part of the equation but I'm still researching. Reason? Well if someone wanted to punch the Maxima 3.0 VQ to a large size, they would have to do similar ecu tweaks. If I find something, I'll post.

BTW: I'm waiting for how long Phatguy takes to reply. LOL

Can an Acura guys point me to specific/detailed information on this swap? Other than this thread?

Why are you trying to help? What do you care? You don't even HAVE a VQ! Go back to your tick-filled life with the VE and brainwash other members to get VE 5-speeds like you did poor, poor Matt93GXE.......who you have seduced to become Matt93SE.....Oh the humanity!

There's just no place in here for such a relevant, helpful post. HOW DARE YOU!

Have you tried acura-cl.com or honda-acura.net?

Oooh... Rick Case Acura... I know where that is, and a friend bought his GSR there. I'm gonna have to go there next time I'm in South Florida and check out this beast, sounds very cool.
