My car is waiting on a muffler and needs suspension. and I want some TSW Sakatas (well, I want to know how much they WEIGH first). and with 126k, i could be a great article on whether or not you SHOULD mod your car after the extended warranty expires...

Hey guys,

We're serious about getting more Maxima coverage in Nissan Sport.

I owned a 4th Gen '98 SE 5-speed from the summer of 1997 through fall of 2002. I loved the car. During that time I "lived" on Maxima.org and bet a few of the old timers might remember me.

As olivas mentioned, were looking for great Maximas to run in our magazine. If you have a Max that meets the description please let us know. Put together a short description, a mods list and a few high res pictures, then send them to me (DaveO@NissanSportMag.com) and our managing editor, Dave Bexfield (DaveB@NissanSportMag.com). You never know your Max might be published.

Maximus 95's 4th gen was featured in the winter 2007 issue of Nissan Sport. I emailed pics of my 3rd gen to Dave Bexfield a few weeks ago. He emailed a professional photographer to meet with me and take professional pictures but i haven't heard from him yet.

SO I guess like most mags, if you're not kitted and rimmed and don't look done up, don't bother applying, even if your performance mods/results are top notch. (not that I have anything against those cars though)

i posted a thread in the 3rd gen forum, trying to get the 3rd gen community as a whole to pick your car for you. maybe 4 and 5 can do similarly. you know, nominations and then voting on who's got the best of each gen.

Kevin (Y2KevSE the former CEO of the org)

the best 4thgen hands down was sadlers. period. it's not even worth a discussion over that. no one has even gotten close.

best 5th gen is up in the air if you ask me...personally i wouldn't want a riced out maxima representing us. Skyline bumpers and the like need to STAY on skylines.
