Some of you may have already read this before. I bought a set of 96 Prelude VTEC black leather seats for $200. The seats are perforated and look exactly like the seats out of a 911. They have lots of bolstering and are very firm. I'm gonna take the seat to a shop to get the mounts fabricated. Upon test fitting, one of the front mounts already fit fine and the 3 others will take a little welding. The seat will sit about 1 inch lower and will sit the driver's butt a bit lower while cradling the lower legs and butt.

This could be a very nice mod for those who want some "real" performance seats for the Maxima. I'm gonna get them installed next week and I'll post pics.

Anyone make seat adapters for our cars? I wouldnt mind having some adj. racing seats.

After I took a few 3-4 hour long drives, I noticed my lower back was starting to hurt bad. Maybe it's the way I sit or what, but it sucks nevertheless. Dave B, I thought you had them in your car before? I think i even saw pics on your website a long time ago..

anyways, i'd like to see this. The stock brackets can be just stripped off the stock seats and mounted onto the Prelude seat right?

 

You might want to PM Dave B, Last I heard he didn't want to fool with the shipping part but if you make him an offer he might work something out. I check these seats out on earlier this summer on his car and all I can say is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
