I am gettign ready to re paint my bumper and I found PPGCARPAINT.COM on google and was wondering if any of the ORG members had used them

is this a good palce to buy auto paint?
is the a better palce to buy?

what is a good clear coat / primer to match to stock (its a fiberglass cover BTW)

yeah I saw patinscratch, they wanted around $181 for a pint of base coat

PPG had that for $71.85,
ALOT less ,
thus my question is it good paint @PPG?

PPG is good stuff, I didn't know of the site but I sure would use their paint if I had to.

NAPA was always good to me with paint, when I painted my 93 it was a perfect match to the factory paint (obviously the factory paint was beat at that point, but it matched newer maximas at the time)

I worked for PpG for about a year and a half in one of their fine chemicals plants, in Houston. Quality company. Paint and coatings have been their business for a very long time.

Trivia: Jeffrey Dahmer's father works for PpG...

My brother worked for PPG for a couple of years in the automotive refinish department (Clackamas, Oregon). He told me that everything they make is good quality, even their low end Omni line. He supplied paint for a couple of show winning cars that my uncle and cousin built. One was a 1940 Chevy and the other was a lowrider 56 GMC truck.

If you have an authorized PPG shop paint your car, all PPG products have a lifetime warranty.
