I finally got to drive a 5-speed Max!!!!

After driving my parents 1997 auto Maxima I finally got to drive a 5-speed Max and loved it. I am looking at buying a 1995 5-Speed Maxima SE that has all the features. The problem is he wants at least $9500, for a SIX year old car with 100000 miles on it. I am gonna call him tomorrow and offer him $8500, and hopefully he realizes that is all he will get, he will sell it to me. If there is anything that you guys you can tell me about the 95 Max that will help me bring his price down it would be appreciated.
Thanks

Offer $7,500, thats what they go for around here. If he flat out refuses, and thinks its too little, then offer $8000 but I wouldn't want to pay more then that for a 6 year old 100K mile maxima. Start off lower, as he will try to talk you up anyhow. Likely he will not sell it, then come back to you, then offer him $7,60 if he refused the $8000
. I did this with another car, and the seller came to my office, and said, are you still interested
I got it for less then what I offered him at first, because I walked away when he wanted more.
