Dood, that brought back memories of my Atari 2600 Missile Command
http://www.tripletsandus.com/80s/80s...lecommand2.htm

Here in LA, I think fireworks should be banned. I went to my rooftop and watched at least 70 simultaneous fireworks show. That's not including the ones that people do from their houses. I've never been in a war, but I'm sure it woulda sounded the same. I really dislike the noise, light, and air pollution of fireworks. Ban Ban Ban!

Then there's my theory of people committing crimes while the fireworks are going off (broken glass, burglar alarms, barking dogs, gunshots... which's legit and which isn't during this time?)

Which means that my family and friends who are in law enforcement need to work while the rest of us would rather have them celebrating with us...

And then there's kids (and adults and animals) who get hurt playing with fireworks.

Jae

Me and a bunch of my friends got to blow off a bunch of fireworks until the cops came and comfiscated some of our sh*t. Luckily we had all of the big stuff at home so they didn't take all of it; only 400 bottle rockets. I was so pissed that I drove all the way to Indiana to buy them and we didn't even get to use all of them. Oh well, we just went and blew off all of the big stuff later on after the cops left. I don't get why fireworks are illegal in IL. If you are stupid enough to do something like holding a bunch of fireworks while lighting/launching them, you deserve to have your hand blown off. But if you are being careful, doing it safely, and clean up your mess, you should be allowed to.

they are, its illegal in jersey too. but they do have bunch of fire works show which is legal because i guess they have a license to do it.

it is true how gay these fireworks law is. theres so many cool fire works that i was so amazed when i was a kid. but too bad kids nowadays cant enjoy them because some dumb as kid decide to blow their face off. your suppose to throw it and run away from it, not hold it in your hands and see what happens to it.

We have safe and sane here but most in my neighborhood here get the illegal stuff from Mexico and Nevada. After last night some parts of Buena Park will never be the same.

oh and Teufelhunden, you are so right. I remember the old Magnesium sparklers we had as kids, the ones we have now a days are nothing compared to those old things. So what did I do? Made a flash bomb out of a pack of five.

everything is illegal here except for gay sparklers, and thats not really considered fire works. they even banned the snapper thingy.
but happy 4th regardless.

You should get the pre-lit fireworks, they are not illegal!
