I need new brake pads NOW and am not tryin to spend the 120 dollars or whatever it is for Porterfields. How do the reg pads from trakauto or pepboys hold up. Apparently they have one ranging from 17-about 40 dollars a pair. The higher end ones have a lifetime warranty. Also, whats the difference performance/durability wise between organic/metallic/and semimetallic? Thanks

Go to Advance Auto Parts

- Insist on Bendix Titanium IQ Pads
- They usually aren't in stock, but you can usually get them the next day
- They are around $30

If you don't know what anti-squeal is (blue goop for the outside part of the pads to prevent noise), you may not want to do this yourself......
