A Saturn is made out of plastic. Kinda like Rubbermade, bounces back.

The bad part is that paint doesn't like to stick to plastic. My brother has one, like a 1995 or so, and he has had the front end painted a couple of times from rock chips.

My friend got into an accident with his Saturn

The plastic doors are terrible in an accident. His estimate was rediculously high, he took the money and bought an integra. Once the plastic sheet has buckled, you gotta buy a whole new sheet.

Heh, my friend was on the other end of the stick. He hit a saturn, and cracked a door. It cost like 4g to fix that door. Thats wack.

Actually I think plastic non-dent doors are an ingenius idea. The problem is that they don't absorb much force in a side collision.

The "skin" of a car is not made to absorb any force. In fact, there was a crash test run on a Camry, I believe, with all outer panels(sheet metal) removed, including the hood. The crash test dummies incurred the same amount of injury/force numbers.
