Don told me to tap into the silver screw behind the dash for my RPM lead, is this how you did it?

and where's the nearest power source i can tap into to power the ShiftLite?

huh..

i've been looking at the FSM for a while now and can't really find anything of use.. maybe i'm looking in the wrong areas.
.

any install tips would be great.. then i can post it on my How2 section..

i did mine using the screw on the back of the dash and it works fine. i just tapped into the 12v cigarette adapter line, but i guess it all depends on where you gonna put it.

WHEW!

ehhh yaa!

i got it to work. thanks Don.

here's how to do it folks,

when you take off the dash gauges, there's several screws on the back (silver) that connect the circuit layers together.

well look for a TAM next to that screw and tap into it using your RPM wire. Right next to TAM is GRND which is ground. attach that to the ground wire.

then you can either run the (+) wire to the cig lighter behind the console, or to the little lamp next to it.

all done!

write up soon on How2 section on MaximaDriver.com...

thanks again Don.
