I don't know whether this will help, but:

-Try searching the internet
-Try contacting (Canadian) junkyards
-Try Nissan for new parts
-Try aftermarket sources, like Cattman for example

Luck is going to be a factor in your search, so...

Good luck.

www.copartfinder.com Go there and searth the I30's for a 5-speed model. Then call up the yard that has it and ask them if it's still available, and if they will shi if it's not close enough to pickup......

In Canada, 4gen SE comes with LSD from 96 to 99. Maybe if you can come to Canada, or order one, you can get them. THe problem is that the installation cost will be very expensive. You need to find a shop that could do the adjusting right. If you want one, getting one from Canada will be very hard for you because you will have to order one from Canada which will be extremely expensive. OEM Nissan parts are really expensive.

I would say you should get it from Cattman when it comes out.

BTW, you will love the LSD if you have them.

Hard to find..

Hey,

I have one. I'll get my car back this coming week. It's the hardest thing to find in the country. There were about 4 or 5 when I was looking, so now there are 3 or 4 left. I got mine for 1000 shipped because my father is a dealer. All the other ones were 1400 to 1800. Just lettin you know.

Thanks,
Mike

don't forget 3rd gens

AFAIK, they have LSDs as well, and can be used in this application. Should be cheaper (because of age) and more readily available to salvage.
