Changing the clutch, my friend let the transmission slide off the jack and it fell right on the side of my shin. Needless to say, i yelled pretty loud and woke his parents up. But hey, I still got the tranny back in that night.

 

I'm going to have to say, the worst thing that happened was that my in-laws got me one of those prestone spray/scraper de-icer cans for the holidays, and there was frost covering my windshield, so I tried it out. worked like a charm, however I got some backspray off the windshield towards my face and i SWEAR i ingested some. within 20 minutes I was trying to not pass out while trying to figure out the damn number for poison control and figure out wtf I'm supposed to do if i ingest some. . .unfortunately for me most of the information said ingestion was fatal

obviously, I'm still here, however when trying to stay concious and not upchuck my lower intestines, the LAST thing i wanted to read was that I'm going to DIE.

 

ever had the hood struts fail and fall, closing completely with your hand stuck in there by the headlights and unable to get it back out? yeah, when you're alone and it's night time and your hand is stuck under the hood and hurting like hell, it's kind of hard to pop the hood yoursesomeone finally ended up coming outside and popping it for me. lol.

also while changine front struts, my foot-lever action on the hub failed and pinched a couple of fingers between the fender well and the spring. ouch.

all funny stuff but nothing major.

 

For all of those of you that keep cutting and burning the **** out of your hands buy some nice gloves! I did and i freaking love them! I drove my car for 45 minutes, came home and changed my plugs. I ended up w/ out a single burn and clean finger nails!

 

Yeah, but then threads like this wouldn't exist.

Ive yet to hurt myself on my max. My 240sx I don't even know where to begin. Tranny dropping on my chest. Getting hit in the face with a flywheel. pulley smashing my forehead. and the list goes on.
