i've been communicating a little bit with my car (92 VE-5), and although the curves are defined as more woman-like, the car's not moody or anything, so i'm torn. will wait a while longer before i designate.

I tend to call the car a 'she' because talking softly to a 'he' just doesn't seem right. "i'll take care of ya baby, don't worry, we'll get you all better" would be a little flaming if said to a guy.

but all in all.....zwitter, zwitter.

 

I agree all cars are girls (haven't you seen gone in 60 seconds ) My first Car was a Mercury tracer, so i called her tracy, my next was a maxima named maxine and my newest car, also a maxima is named mandy. I had a mini van somewhere in there for like 2 months but that was just refered to as the bang bus.....

Some americans are very attached to their cars and even name them. Others just say "he" or "she" just because it's easier for them to say.

A car is called 'she' because there is always a great deal of
'bustle' around her.;

There is usually a gang of men about;

It takes a lot of paint to keep her looking good;

It is not the initial expense that breaks you, it is the upkeep;

She can be all decked out;

It takes an experienced man to handle her correctly;

And without a man at the wheel, she is absolutely uncontrollable....
