Need advice on the tire....
My tire got damaged today, and I am looking for a replacement.
These are the stock 17" Bridgestone RE92 tires that come on 2000 SE.
I just looked on the Tirerack, and for 225/50 R17, there are almost no choices available. Only RE92 and some Michelin tire. I think RE92 goes for like $155 and Michelin one for $183.
Any other tires that I can buy for this size that are cheaper?
Anybody selling their stock RE92 tires?
Thanks.

You are pretty much up the creek without a paddle.
Paul2kgxe (sp?) had a posting on the 5th ben board with the options, it's not much more than 2 weeks old. It has an Excel spread sheet.
Realise that at least you should be changing 2 tires or else the car will pull to one side, for sure.

You can try Kumho. I changed mine on the '97 SE, and they are great.
Cost me $77 per tire, total is ~$440 (all four).

yeah, get some kuhmos, or how ever you spell them. discout tires has 225/40/17 for $70 a piece. they are as cheap as they can get and they are still good tires.
