needles... after indiglo
#1
after installing my indiglo..... my guage needles are not moving smoothly as before.... not even remotely close...
i think temperature and fuel guages are all right but the rpm and speedometer don't move up much.... ex) rpm needles jumps from 1000 rpm to 3000 rpm.... not smoothly but just jumps over... what is the problem???
thanks

what year is your max?
i have a 99 and my tach still sticks (depends on the weather)
i was able to use the screws front the gauges.
some years you cannot.
you need to get some double sided tape and secure the sides down so that the indiglo gauge is level .
i ended up shaving the bottom of the "counter weight side" of the tach needle... do you know what i mean?
if you have the gauge cluster out you can manually move the needle an see where the needle is touching the gauge..
hope that helps..
also www.maximadriver.com has instructions...if you haven't seen them.
