Just curious what you boys think about Nissan, are you sold on the brand-name, do you like Maxima, Maxima for the price, or what? I think the Maxima is an above-average car and maybe the best car for the price, especially due to the fact it's sold at invoice or below for 3 model years. 2000 was a fluke because when the 5th gen first came out dealers tried to sell high.

I myself wish Nissan would make a stronger brand image. Because inevitably people say, shall I buy a Honda or a Maxima? It just shows not everyone cares only about a sweet motor.

This dude at work has an RX-8 screensaver. When's the Z gonna come out to compete with it??

I've always liked maxima's...even since the old box maxima came out in the 80's. However,I do think that fit and finish on the maxima should be better, but there are so many more good things going for it. Every car is going to have it's faults though. Nissan service really needs to improve. They can treat you so bad that it makes me want to slap an infiniti symbol on the back and beg them to work on my car. I think Nissan will get a lot of attention with their new lineup including the new maxima, altima, z, and Sentra SE-r.I'm really looking forward to what they'll bring out next.

Not to nit-pick but...

It's AWD, not 4WD, that is if you are referring to the Skyline GT-R, or whatever in the hell they're calling it these days. Sorry, but I own a truck, and it is blasphemy to call a car a 4WD, unless it has a transfer case, and a low range, too. I would compare it to someone referring to the Max as having a VTEC engine. Not too cool, huh? Just gotta point that out, even if you know this Jeff, someone else may not, and invariably start referring to the GT-R as a 4WD, and that would make them look foolish, and no one wants to look fooloish.....well except maybe those guys in the Accord DXs with their 18s, wings and ram air hoods......dumb***es...all of them

Well it's not like you drive pass a Nissan dealership and gaze in awe like it's a Lexus or BMW spot...but the Maxima can sale itself usually to informed buyers...but dealing with Nissan Service dept. makes you haul *** outta there fast as lightning

I thought 4WD was standard on a Max if you put 20" rims on....
