Town Fair Tire scratch the heII out of my rims:(!!
I finally told myself that they will not mess my rims up. I went and got a tire rotation. I told the guy at the front about my special socket for the lugs and he said If they need it in the back then they will ask for it. I get home and start cleaning my max and then notice that they rely dug in to the lug nut holes. They stuck a socket in that was to thick and short. EVERY HOLE WAS MESSED UP!! they were closed by the time I went bach
. I went this morning and showed them and he said there socket fit perfect I showed them mine and they shut up. It took me 45 minutes to get them to replace them. They will be in next week.
Will they damage my very low profile tires by taken them off then on again?

Are you talking about the Danbury Town Fair Tire?
The guys down there once forgot to tighten my cousins front drivers side wheel back on and he drove down towards Stew Lenards' only to have his wheel go flying off at 45 mph. Ripped the crud out of his car.

town fair tire:smash:
i dont know if u guys remember but i had this kid put my new rims on under the table at exxon. f*cked them up reeaal bad. so i couldnt do anything about it b/c it was under the table. he wont pay for it because hes a piece of sh*t.(thats the conclusion i drew) so he ends up getting fired for something or other, being a dumbass im guessing, and i'll give u one guess where hes working now. ding ding! on your first try too- good ol' town fair tire. oh, and ive heard my fair share of horror stories involving this place, especially having to do w/ rims. so, what i learned from this experience is that if your going to spend that much cash on rims and tires, go somewhere that u can trust, like a REAL mechanic. by the way, this town fair tire is in avon CT, maybe theres just something in the water here that encourages hiring monkeys at places like that?
Find someone in your town who has 19 or 20 inch wheels and ask where they go to get alignments and rotations, I guarantee it won't be a Sears or something. It may cost more, but those are the shops that know what they're doing.
tires can be rotated to the back on the same side but if you wanna cross them over to the other side, you need to take the tire off of the rim because in most cases the tire can only go one way... when i bought my rims the place i got them from has WTC balance and mount them... they put them on my car, theyre all done and i notice one tire has the arrow pointing in the wrong direction lol... they put 2 on wrong so they just swapped them luckily they didnt have to re-mount because i wanted to get out of there with my new rims.. if i didnt notice that those 2 tires would have worn real quick though
