Yeah, I know....the final decision is mine but for some reason, I value the opinions of others occasionally I ripped out the sorry dash kit that was in my max when I bought it and now can't decide between brushed aluminum or dark burlwood. my interior is black and I'm a little hesitant about the brushed aluminum because I don't want the contrast to be overwhelming. I'll stop rambling and ask for your thoughts. Anyone who has pictures to post would be a HUGE help.

carbon fiber goes well in dark interiors
I have one in mine; pics at www.geocities.com/bracecraig/maxima/new you can't see it very well in the pics, but it looks really good in person

check out www.woodtrim.com for prices and some pics

It sucks because a decision like this is tough without seeing the fitment. I've got a credit from a shop that deals with BCI but I've never heard them mentioned in here. It seems that many people like the new Joshua Tree kits. I know I don't want Carbon Fiber. I just can't decide between the very dark wood or the brushed aluminum

nah

As I just posted in the other Dash Kit thread:

Frankly I think Joshua tree is not very good on fitment. There are some gaps in my kit, and I've bought 2-3 additional pieces, etc. to try to get it perfect, but the way they are made they are just not perfect fits.

JT sells kits made by a company called Spectrum. WoodDash.com has some from another company called B&I which are, I think, better fits. I am going to swap mine out someday when I have lots of energy and patience.

i think the brushed aluminum would look good with your interior and from an outside view looking it with your exterior color i think it would look better than the wood finish. just my thoughts

I thought the company was BCI but it's B&I that my shop orders from. Making the decision tomorrow.

If you're considering an aluminum dash kit, consider the ones I sell. They're made by a local company and made from real aluminum. www.ap-signworks.com Email me at sales@ap-signworks.com if you're interested.

I think the brushed alum. w/ black interior is tighter than gnat booty. That is the set up I have. I have the woodview kit which is molded(no flat pieces) I convinced a couple of my fellow 5th gen. member to buy this kit.
