I have to go to trial next week and I was trying to do this myself but I'm getting cold feet, so I was wondering if anyone can recommend any here in the Los Angeles area? I have to go to the Inglewood courthouse. Would it be possible to even get one in time? After all, my case is August 6. TIA.

Regards,
Mike H.

P.S. Oh yeah, what's the asking price for traffic cases these days? Thanks.

If the systems is like Chicago, then there will be plenty of lawyers around...just have to step up to one and ask them for help...if you can't find one...you can always request a continuance (??) and get another court date later...

I wish I could ask for a continuance... I'm pushing it with the judge. I actually re-opened the case because I couldn't attend the last two appearances due to work. Talk about timing. Where would I look? I guess the yellow pages. Thanks.
