I need to get my stereo out to redo some wiring. I've taken it out before, but I totally forgot where the clips are and can't get it off now. I can get the lower part out, but the part around the actual stereo and AC vents doesn't seem to want to come out. Thanks.

 

You need to pry it up and out. A screwdriver wrapped in a towel, to keep from scratching plastic, can be used to pop it loose. I think it works better if you start from the bottom of the piece that has the vents in it, around the hazard lights. Actually to the left of the hazards and right of the rear defroster.
